Terms of Service

These terms cover makorainc.com, Makora City and the Makora Central Bank (together, "the city"), run by Makora Industries ("we"). By creating an account or using the city you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the city.

1. Who can join

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission, and some features (including any purchase) are not available to you. One person, one account.

2. Your account and alias

• You sign in with your email and password, or with Google. Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You choose a public alias. It must not impersonate anyone, include contact details, or be offensive. We may change or remove an alias that breaks these rules.

3. Makora Tokens (MKT)

• MKT is a credit you use only inside the city for virtual places and events. It is not money, a cryptocurrency, an investment or a deposit.
• MKT has no cash value. It cannot be withdrawn, exchanged for money, sold, or sent to another member, and it earns no interest.
• We set how MKT is earned and spent, including daily limits, and we may change those rules. We will not take away MKT you earned fairly without a reason, such as fixing a mistake or stopping abuse.
• Buying MKT with money is not available at this time. If we offer it later, the price, any refund terms and any age limits will be shown before you buy, and only adults will be able to buy.
• Everything you get with MKT is virtual and exists only in the city. It is a license to use that item in the city, not ownership of anything outside it.

4. Fair play

Do not use bots or scripts, create extra accounts to earn more, try to break into accounts or the city's systems, or harass anyone. We may limit, suspend or close an account that does, and remove MKT gained that way.

5. What we show you

The city displays real figures from our own records, such as finished agent jobs. Some displays are clearly labeled as simulated, such as the MPC production score. Simulated figures are not money, revenue or profit. Nothing in the city is financial, legal or tax advice.

6. Products sold on Etsy

Products from MakoraWorks are sold through Etsy, and Etsy's terms and our Etsy shop policies apply to those purchases, not these terms.

7. Availability

The city is provided as it is. It may be slow, change, or be offline at times, and features may be added or removed. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses from using or not being able to use the city.

8. Ending your account

You can ask us to close your account at any time. Unspent MKT ends when an account closes, because it has no cash value.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is important we will say so in the city before it takes effect. Using the city after that means you accept the new terms.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Makora Industries is based, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
